AI Team Documentation

AI Teams organize specialized Digital Employees around a business function while humans provide goals, expertise, judgment, and approval where required.

The architecture separates the work, how the work is performed, how it executes, and what the customer allows. That separation lets teams benefit from new models, tools, and enterprise infrastructure without redefining every job.

Core model

  1. Humans set goals, provide expertise, review exceptions, and control consequential approvals.
  2. AI Teams organize Digital Employees around a business outcome.
  3. Digital Employees own defined jobs, responsibilities, boundaries, and outputs.
  4. Skills define the specialized methods used to perform those jobs.
  5. Orchestration coordinates workflow state, handoffs, validation, and human gates.
  6. Execution layers make the workforce executable through supported AI environments.
  7. Customer AI Control Planes govern organizational context, identities, permissions, data, systems, tools, and policies.
  8. Tools and integrations provide approved capabilities for retrieving information and taking action.
